Who I Help

I am intimately familiar with the landscape of working in a high-pressure/stressful job both in my extensive experience treating clients in Silicon Valley, as well as my own personal experience leading and managing teams and programs. I’ve worked extensively with male clients who are employees, entrepreneurs, founders, engineers, and business executives. I work best with men who are motivated and willing to do some work between sessions.

How I Help

What makes me unique as a Psychologist is my expertise in advanced-level Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT and TEAM-CBT) and my ability to blend my sense of humor/wit and personable/pragmatic style with my warmth and caring nature. After establishing treatment goals and ensuring my clients are heard and understood, I move quickly into helping my clients learn science-based skills directly tailored to their presenting concerns and goals. I strive to make therapy engaging and maybe even a bit fun, but I’m also quite direct – I don’t sugar-coat things, but will lead with compassion and authenticity.

When not in session:

Outside of work, I enjoy traveling and spending time with friends, my wife, and my family. My favorite hobbies include attending concerts and festivals, hiking, watching and playing a variety of sports, scuba diving, fishing, birding, and enjoying the diverse Bay Area cuisines.
