Who I Help

My client base consists mostly of men, women, and couples. I specialize in treating anxiety and depression, grief, and in working with veterans and other service members (law enforcement and firefighters).

How I Help

My approach to therapy starts with forming a therapeutic relationship based on trust and the identification of attainable goals. I recognize that each client is an individual and deserves a treatment plan designed specifically for them. Once we have a treatment plan, I helped my clients identify cognitive distortions and work to help them relieve their emotional distress.  I believe that maintaining my clinical skills through education and training is vital to providing current evidence-based therapy to my clients.

When not in session:

When I am not conducting sessions, I am working towards completing a Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology (PsyD). I also have two grandsons. I enjoy going to their soccer and baseball games.  As far as self-care is concerned, I am involved in fencing on a recreational level, although I used to compete nationally.
